Robert "Coach P" Person has officially filed his candidacy for the Huntsville City Schools Board of Education, District 3. After 30 years serving students, teachers, and families in Huntsville City Schools, Coach P is ready to bring that same dedication to the board room.
Educators, coaches, and community members across District 3 are throwing their support behind Coach P. "Robert Person has given everything to our students for three decades. He's exactly the kind of leader we need on the school board," said one longtime supporter.
Coach P unveiled his four-pillar platform this week, centering on Academic Excellence, Teacher Support & Retention, Responsible School Funding, and Responsible Growth & Community Alignment. "Every decision I'll make on that board will start with one question: is this good for our students?"
